The 16th International Conference on Marine Navigation and Safety of Sea Transportation was held from 11 to 13 June 2025 (Wednesday – Friday). The conference was organized by the Faculty of Navigation of the Gdynia Maritime University and The Nautical Institute.
The conference addressed scientists and professionals, providing a platform for sharing expert knowledge, experience, and research results concerning all aspects of navigation, safety of navigation, and sea transportation.
During this event, the 2nd Workshop on Micro-credentials in the Maritime Profession took place on 12 June 2025. This workshop was part of the fifteen editions of the most innovative world conference on maritime transport research, designed to find solutions to the challenges in waterborne transport, navigation and shipping, and the mobility of people and goods, focusing on issues related to energy, infrastructure, environment, safety, security, and economic considerations.
Additionally, the project partners took this opportunity to hold a project meeting, where members of the project team from Barcelona, Gdynia, and Zadar gathered to discuss ongoing progress and future collaboration. At the conference, the project was presented, focusing on past activities, especially those related to WP 3.
