MaritimeMT visit
The Maritime Department members, Ana Gundić and Dino Županović visited project partner institution MaritimeMT. The visit was organized for the purpose of a research conducted as part of WP2 – Short learning programmes in maritime industry.
FSU visit
The Maritime Department members, Dino Županović and Ana Gundić, as part of the Micro-qualifications in seafarers’ education and training – MICROMET project under the Erasmus+ KA2 program, visited the FSU ship in Malta together with Alan Amato from the project partner institution MaritimeMT. The visit was organized for the purpose of a research conducted as part of WP2 – Short learning programmes in maritime industry.
Cruise seminar
The Norwegian Seafarers’ Union, in cooperation with ITF, FIT-CISL, Ver.di, and SUC, organized a cruise seminar in Dubrovnik for seafarers residing in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Austria and Central Europe.
Ana Gundic, Astrid Zekic and Dino Zupanovic attended the Cruise seminar, and carried out activities that are part of Work Package 2.
FSRU visit
The MICROMET project members, Ana Gundic and Astrid Zekic, visited the FSRU LNG Croatia. The visit was organized for the purpose of the research conducted as a part of WP2 – Short learning programmes in maritime industry.
MICROMET project workshop
On June 13, 2024, a workshop that is part of the MICROMET project was organized at the University of Zadar.
The workshop was part of the activities in Work Package 2 – Short learning programmes in the maritime industry. The aim of the workshop was to identify reasons for introducing new short learning programmes and map competencies lacking to perform jobs on board passanger ships, LNG carriers, and tankers. Experts from the maritime industry, including masters and chief officers, representatives from shipping companies, maritime faculties, maritime training centers, harbormaster’s office, as well as project partners, participated in the workshop.
