Šibenik, 11 September 2025 – The first day of the 7th International Scientific and Professional Conference “The Challenges of Today”, organized by the Polytechnic of Šibenik, featured the presentation of the Micromet project: Micro-Credentials Recognition in the seafarers’ profession: Insights from the Micromet Project, financed through the Erasmus+  KA220-HED – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education Programme.

As part of the Conference Program, the roundtable discussion “Synergy of Blue and Green Economy – Sustainability in Focus” was co-organized, moderated by Pinija Poljaković and featuring leading experts and policymakers: Tanja Radic-Lakos from the Ministry of Environment and Green Transition, Ivan Sever from the Institute for Tourism, Ljiljana Bozic from The Institute of Economics Zagreb, Tomislav Šarić from the University of Zadar, Matija Bumbak from Platforma022, and Boris Petrušić from Oracle.
