We are thrilled to announce that our project and its results were showcased at the 24th International Association of Maritime Universities Conference (IAMUC), held from October 9-11, 2024, at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Cape Cod, USA, centered around the theme “Protecting Our Mariners – Promoting Our Industry – Providing for the Future.” Our presentation highlighted key findings and impacts of our project, contributing to global discussions on enhancing maritime education and industry practices.
This prestigious event gathers academicians and researchers from member universities worldwide to discuss advancements and future directions in maritime education, training, and research.
Two papers were presented at the conference:
- Analysis of Maritime Pilots’ Education in the Republic of Croatia
- Harmonization of non-STCW short-learning courses
