On January 15, 2024, the kick-off meeting for the project “Micro-qualifications in seafarers’ education and training – MICROMET” was held in the organization of the University of Zadar.

The University of Zadar is participating in the project as the project coordinator, along with the following partners: University of Split (Croatia), Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (Spain), Maritime MT (Malta), and Uniwersytet Morski w Gdyni (Poland). Tankerska plovidba d.d. is an associated partner in the project.

This project is funded under the Erasmus+ program – Key Action 2 for higher education. The project activities will be carried out from December 1, 2023, to May 31, 2026.

The objective of the online meeting was to present the project, project activities, expected results, and dissemination methods to ensure understanding of the partners’ roles in the project. All members of the project teams from the partner institutions participated in the meeting.
