We are pleased to share highlights from the QAC Micromet meeting, held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split.

The meeting began with opening remarks and the adoption of the agenda, followed by a detailed presentation of project activities implemented during 2025. Team members reviewed progress across several work packages and discussed internal evaluation and monitoring results.

Particular attention was given to Quality Control Checkpoints and Review Processes within key work packages: WP2 – short learning programmes in the maritime industry, WP3 – policy and curricula in higher maritime education institutions, WP4 – the role of training centres in micro-credentials recognition, and WP5 – quality assurance.

Discussions also addressed upcoming activities under WP5, including the development of training and training materials related to the use of Bologna Tools in micro-credentials recognition within maritime higher education institutions, as well as planning for a pilot course on Bologna Tools application.

The meeting concluded with agreed steps to further strengthen quality management and ensure the effective implementation of the project’s forthcoming activities.
